Swing Gates 

Manually operated or fully automatic range of steel swing gates, either single or double leaf.

The gates are designed to eliminate specification issues and potential installation problems at site. BY being bi -directional they can be installed in any configuration. It is even possible to reverse the direction of operation after installation.

Constructed from steel with mesh or vertical bar infill, all gates are supplied complete with a lever handle, eurocylinder lock and a tamper proof drop bolt system.

Standard gates are available in single and double leaf styles up to 6m in width and 2.2m in height. Larger gates are available as special build units. We also offer automation and access control systems to suit your individual requirements.

^{Pivoting bollard gates}

Gate design type 301 uses a simple traditional hinging method for hanging the gate on a bollard. However this can cause undue stress to both the bollard and hinge mechanism.

This type of gate is only suitable for hanging up to 1.8m long gate leaves.

^{We have developed a range of pivoting bollard gates. By utilising a bearing in the top portion of the bollard the whole assembly pivots around an internal steel core. With no external moving parts strength and durability are greatly increased. These gates are suitable for single leaf spans of up to five metres. Drop bolts or intermediate bollards can be provided to give extra support. We would also recommend the use of slam posts in order to lock the gate in the open position where single leaves are in excess of three metres. Provision for locking can be made either on the end of larger gates (i.e. three metres or over) or by simple tabs on the base that can be made to restrict opening to either 90°, 180° or 360°.}

Manual Swing Gates

The manual swing gate, constructed from steel rectangular hollow section boasts a sturdy arm to prevent access to unauthorized areas such as, manufacturing plants waste sites and roadways. Lockable in both open and closed positions the barrier is supplied with two locking posts as standard, this unit is ideal for remote and unmanned locations

Specification:

Frame: Welded construction, mild steel box section 80mm by 40mm

Infill: Welded steel mesh, (50mm wide by 200mm high mesh pattern, formed by two8mm horizontal wires either side of 6mm vertical wires, welded at each intersection).

Posts: Steel box section 100mm by 100mm or 120mm by 120mm depending upon gate dimensions.

Gate Hinges: Steel hinges, fully adjustable.

Lock: Cylinder lock with three keys and aluminium lever handles.

Finish: Hot dip galvanised and polyester powder coated.

• Standard colours: Grey RAL 7023, Green RAL 6005, White RAL9010, Anthracite RAL7016.

• A range of non standard RAL colours are available at additional cost
